Tactica; formations

Recommended Posts

Hello all

When discussing tactics with each other and helping our brothers improve as they help us, we usually come to the same subject; army lists.

Although it is proven that good army lists will substantially improve your chances of victory over not so good lists, there's so much more to it. I want to make this thread for us brothers to assist those that are struggling to win even with recommended lists.

So, what are we here to talk about? Formations. What units form particular groups with individual roles in your recommended formation and how do you initially deploy them? Do you follow formations used by historically successful military leaders or make up your own? If you do not use formations and simply act by whim, why don't you tell us what kind of army you're using and we'll recommend formations to you?

Let's hear them!
