Ideaus
Just a quick rule query for the wolves as you's would know this best. The Long Fang leader can he replace both his CCW and BP for a Flamer and Meltagun AKA two special weapons so if he were to land in a DPwith the LF SQD he could fire his meltagun with the unit to crack open a tank and then use the flamer to counter any charges. Is it viable as it is a fairlycheap option especial when compared to the Melta bomb - PW option, and would give greater flexibility to the squad? It would also be pretty cool modelling opportunity as I would do it as two wrist mounted underslung weapons similar to Calgar withoutPower fists. Rune Priest Jbickb
Sadly you can only make a replacement with ONE of the listed options so I far as I can tell only one special weapon may be taken this way. Incorrect: "The Long Fang Squad Leader may replace his close combat weapon and/or bolt pistol with one of the following:", C:SW, pg.92 "Where an option states that you may exchange one weapon 'and/or' another, you may replace either, neither or both provided you pay the points cost.", C:SW, pg.81 I don't know how effective/cost-effective it would be, but it is legal. Rune Priest Jbickb
My bad I thought the one carried more weight because it was not used in places where I know you can double up such as with the wolf guard. But it looks like dswanick is right. I retract my previous post.
