Rub on transfers

Recommended Posts

Frequently, including on 40K models — though not ones specifically designed for this, but generic ones by brands like Letraset. Up until the mid-90s or so, these things were sold very widely because they had all kinds of applications that people use printers for nowadays: if you wanted neat lettering, dry transfers were one of the few options available. Many modellers (of real-world subjects) also use dry transfers quite a lot, because they don't have the carrier film that wet transfers do, and so will look like they're painted on the model like markings would be on the real thing.
