well the topic is pretty clear, every time that i lisen certain soundtrack i think "this will be good if WH40K" and i think you will have some sound to, so i made this so you can put here the soundtrack that you think will be in certain moments of the heresy

for example i will go with this soundtrack:

for me this soundtrack can be very good with the WB at istavan, hell even the name(treachery) sound very WH40k, or at least that is what i think

so come here and put your own soundtrack and for what moment of the heresy

I can imagine this after the battle of terra, with the sun rising over the palace and dorn with his father body, yes i was a terrible battle and yes in end in tragedy, but also the win, the force of chaos stay at his doorstep and they FAIL in take the emperor, for me that will be pretty awosome

I would say the music from dawn of war and such games fits like a glove. My favorite and wich would be perfect for an opening scene or the death of the Emperor:

Man, I listen to this everytime I need inspiration. Also, Ennio Morricone is amazing, but I dont feel his music fits the grim darkness of the far future.

For the Lion of the First legion and any who think its wise to mess with him.

I second this, but for the whole heresy, there long version sounds both prideful yet with a somber not and I think fits the mood of the heresy as a whole.

Plus we can hardly compare the lion effectiveness (or lack of) with dealing with the traitors to the total victory of Tywin :P

I really hate these threads, honestly... But I would say a good listen when painting my HH Death Guard or just HH in general is Danzig's Black Aria. It's actually a classical album about the fall of Lucifer, which as we know is the main influence for the Horus Heresy.
