The first post will contain my finished work while the later posts I create will be WIP pics. Any comments and critisism more welcome. By the way my Iphone camera sucks... lol. First Vow Complete YAY.. I have always enjoyed your Raptors, you and the Yak are the reason I am interested in them. Hiroitchi Posted May 25, 2013 Author Share Posted May 25, 2013 @Yak: I got the rotar blades from a Revell Blackhawk model. the Base of the Blades are a spare bit from the Dark Angels Flyer and the Top part is from a Tau Drone. @ Deathspectresgt and Furioso-prime. You think that's awesome, I finished two out of the three models in my vow just a few minutes ago. Now time to finish up that Hyperios Whirlwind. Hiroitchi Posted May 27, 2013 Author Share Posted May 27, 2013 Thanks AngelsAbosolute; well pertaining to your question, I simply used ink and spread it heavily upside down so it drains to the lower parts of the canopy where it can't be seen. Its a long process. Speaking of long process, I am out of brown ink, but I did finish one of my scout bike squads 50% of the way through... 10 down 10 more to go whoo hoo.. Hiroitchi Posted May 28, 2013 Author Share Posted May 28, 2013 Update, I got one scout bike left to finish for my first squad of scout bikes and onward to my next squad of bikes. My 4x Scout squads are primed and ready to go, the base colors from my land speeders are finished and onward to highlighting and deca-ling, dry brushing my built Aegis defense line and getting them ready to base. Now my terminators are just primed with my raptor green, but I got something special in mind for them.... As for my other whirlwind, its in the same boat as my terminators and my damocles rhino is nearly done. So chuggin' along here. I will post pictures shortly....
