Just a quick bitz question

I've come to really like the look of this chest piece and I'm thinking of using it for my upcoming Librarian conversion.  The thing is, from what pics I've seen of the naked bit, it doesn't seem to be a normal torso piece.  It looks as though the neck portion is filled in, which strikes me as odd.

Is it just a normal torso piece?  If not, how's it different?  And finally, if it is different, can it be fitted with a GK power armor back piece?

Thanks in advance.

Its a scout torso. The heads that fit it are mostly intended to be scout heads, hence the 40k bluetooth headsets. Don't ask me why there's only one. Same reason why there's only one scout plasma pistol arm I imagine. Its likely to help inject some wolfiness to a standard scout box.

Its not a scout torso, they made this torso this way so the heads with the wild hair could be casted, if the ball had to be put under the head than a lot of extra plastic would be between the ball and the hair, making it A ugly and B still not fit a torso

Same thing with the torso for the Thunderwolves.

Cutting off the ball of a head/helmet works fine, keep the ball to use a SW head made for this torso and you can use it on a normal torso, been there, done that wink.png

Max is correct. It goes with a couple heads on the sprue that have significant "beardage". Those were cast with a flat "neck", and go well on that particular chest piece. By the looks of them together, I believe they work well, or were intended to be used for Wolf Guard or other leaders, such as this Wolf Guard Leader working with a Wolf Scout Pack:
