mactire
Just a quick question about priming forge world resin. Do GW chaos black and skull white sprays do a good job adhering to the resin and also does anyone have any experience of using the Army Painter coloured primers on same Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/276051-forge-world/ Share on other sites
Kabbala
Yes, any of those primers will work fine. Hell, I use Krylon spray primer generally and it works just as well. The important part, I believe, is that you should wash the mini with some soap and warm water to ensure the mold release is completely off the resin. deathspectersgt7
Wash the resin in hot soapy water rinse dry. Army primers are great . Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/276051-forge-world/#findComment-3380955 Share on other sites
Disruptor_fe404
I can vouch for Chaos Black being fine. As mentioned, as long as you wash with warm water and soap (in some places you might need to scrape with a knife or sculpting tool as well), most primers should be fine. Chaeron
Yup, both fine - as long as you prepare them adequately as suggested it'll be magical. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/276051-forge-world/#findComment-3381227 Share on other sites

SW1
If you're in the UK Pound Shop car spray paint works well if you use the matt stuff. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/276051-forge-world/#findComment-3382847 Share on other sites
Pbenner
I use Krylon personally - the GW Cans of paint are just paint, not primer, so in my experience they don't adhere as well to resin. Also, be sure to let them cure well and your paint is on there for good. I just got done doing a bunch of priming with my Forgeworld stuff. Also, the Krylon will stay attached even if you need a secondary adjustment using boiling water during late stage assembly.
