There are some great looking pieces in here and it's nice to see so much of the community on the B&C come together. Everyone should be very proud of their work.

 

You should add Brother-Captains and Grand Masters to the next challenge in August, Grot. Mainly because that would get me motivated to work on making one for my new GK army. :lol:

Grot, you'll have to make this a yearly contest. That way I'll be able to participate next year. Being deployed puts a serious damper on any modelling opportunities.

Originally I was only going to hold one per year, but the Challenges have proven quite popular so I definitely intend on running them for as long as people participate. Something that came up in this Challenge is that not everyone finds/notices the Challenge in time, so everytime a new Challenge is run, any previous Challenge will he reopened for people to grab the banners/pips if they so desire. 

So far we've had Chaplains, Librarians and Captains/Masters are next, so we'll probably see Techmarines and Apothecaries starting after the LPC next year.

As I'm sure most of you know, I did make a vow to join this competition with the stipulation that I would need to order for myself a Chaos Lord on Manticore set to create my entry. My box only just came in today, long after the competition due-date is past but I refuse to leave my vow uncompleted. I know it will not stand as part of the winning entries but like last time, I honestly don't care. Just doing what I love.

After looking through this entirely, I have to say congratulations to everyone who participated in this. Now, about the Captains/Chapter Masters and such, where is the sign up for that?  Or is that not until August?

A question for ya Grotsmasha. I've got a Great Khan I'm working on & a Khan supposedly in the mail but they will need to be painted for the ETL. The question: if I go ahead & take the pics now, can I go ahead & enter them in the Captain contest?

Just leave the finishing touches til Aug 1st and your golden.
