Sigur
Hey guys, some more World Eaters! It's 10 guys but for now my grey textured backdrop is ridiculously small so I had to split them into groups of five. Hope you don't mind. Assault Squad finished: http://sigur.tabletopgeeks.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/18/gallery/pre-heresy-world-eaters/assault-squad2cschrift1.jpg http://sigur.tabletopgeeks.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/18/gallery/pre-heresy-world-eaters/assault-squad2bschrift1.jpg Here are the other five guys: http://sigur.tabletopgeeks.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/18/gallery/pre-heresy-world-eaters/assault-squad2aschrift1.jpg So, hope that you like them. depthcharge12
Any way you could divulge your recipe for painting that off color dirty white? Do you use GW paints or others instead?

Sigur
Thanks very much for the comments, guys! @depthcharge12: I'm using all kinds of paints really. Whatever works for me and that's most. These days I really like Coat d'Arms paints and Vallejo model colour along with several other brands I used on these models like some old Rackham paint, a bit of P3, Vallejo Game Colour and GW. The worst you can do it limit yourself to one paints manufacturer. It's like only ever having one flavour of ice cream. One word on the new GW paints - they mostly made a good initial impression on me (as seen here: http://taleofpainters.blogspot.co.at/2012/04/review-sigurs-second-look-at-new-paints.html) but despite the new paint pots, the things still dry up and when they do, they go rather goo-ey and (to me) unpleasant to work with. The metallics are excellent (they just seperate the pigments from the medium rather quick I found) and the washes are ...okay. Not as good as the older ones by far but what can you do. I did a major cockup on those models by attaching tactical squad signs to their shoulder pads. I think it was a mix of late night and being overly impressed that they're troops choices according to the legion army list. That's fixed now and they're brandishing proper assault squad markings.
