Pintle weapons

I read somewhere that Pintle weapons are skyfire. But can't for the life of me remember where, was it rule book or ia book?anybody know? :-)

Pretty sure that isn't true, since then they'd be firing snapshots at ground targets, and that would have to be plastered all over everything.  (And if they were skyfire and intercept to get around that, then they'd be intercept too!)

I think you can select whether to shoot in skyfire or normal,if you chose skyfire your snapping at ground targets, and vice versa..I'm pretty certain this isnt in the rilebooks, but on a fw model a Pintle can have skyfire..il have I check up on that!
