Marines Adamant - Feral IH Successors

Hello all,

 

Starting on a new army (Marines Adamant for those into the fluff!)  and figured I might as well get the first squad as a vow for the E Tenebrae Lux II.

 

In gaming/army building terms the following squad will be a C:SW 10 man GH squad with 2 plasma guns, (wolf) standard and power axe, plus WG TDA leader with combi-plasma, (wolf) claw.

 

However, I want to support the Liber Astartes forum, so for the purposes of the challenge it will be a 10 man Sternguard with 2 plasmas and Sgt with power axe, plus a TDA Captain with combi-plasma and lightning claw!

Welcome to the ETL Brother! Can't wait to see these guys get completed, Custom Sternguard hold a special place in my heart after all the work I've done for mine. :D

@DP, Benji: Thanks, he's also one of my favourites! It was a little bit of a happy accident, I was adding the bionic bits below the knee but the length was slightly off. However, when I put it together it looked like he was limping along and so I added the bald bearded head for the 'grizzled old soldier' look!

Anyway, a quick update, my airbrush has now arrived so I may actually make the deadline for the ETL after all! Just waiting for a few bits and pieces (paint, airbrush cleaner, etc) and I can get started.

In the meantime, I've built the second squad of GH counts-as and their TDA WG. This squad will ride with my Warleader (TDA WL) in a Crusader and so are armed and modelled for a more close ranged/cc use.

Incidently, Hearthguard of first squad will be called Sludig, cookies for naming the source of names for this army!
