Will the chooser of the slain in LOS of a flyer give the Rune Priest a +1 to snap shots allowing him to hit a flyer at unlimited range with S7 witchfire on 5s?

Yes, modifiers are applied after the stat drop for Snapfire.

That is amazing news. I have played that it didn't add to snap shots. I love chooser of the slain, but now it is even cooler.

Yup. Ethzor is right. I had it backwards. Haven't played in a while.

You could however have that same Rune Priest man an Icarus Lascannon or a Quadgun, with the Chooser of the Slain and Divination rerolls.

Or should, but in a lot of local and regional scenes don't(because they can't be resolved as Snap Shots, or don't roll to-hit, etc)

I thought that young Wolves player, Kopek(??), used it in a couple of tournaments based on the fact that it is not an attack, but game affect which Hard to Hit has nothing to do with.

No. Living Lightning was quickly FAQd to not work on Flyers.

Njal's powers were FAQd to clarify that they are not Shooting attacks:

"Q: Is a vehicle hit by a Vengeful Tornado result literally hit on its side armour, and therefore does it get the Obscured cover save if Njal

cannot see one of its sides? (p53)

A: No – Vengeful Tornado is not a shooting attack and therefore allows no cover save. Essentially the tornado strikes

from directly above; the side armour is used to represent this.", C:SW FAQ

Non-to-hit-rolling Shooting attacks are FAQd in the BRB to not hit Flyers.  So Njal's powers should work on them.  Especially in light of the Codex: Necron FAQ on Imotekh's power (which does affect Flyers).

Are you sure on this?  I couldn't find it and frankly it doesn't make any sense.  I realize it would be snap shots, but that is far from saying it doesn't work.

Yeah, sorry - I should have said Tempest's Wrath. Living Lightning rolls to-hit, so can be made as Snap Shots. Tempest's Wrath causes 3d6 hits, so can't affect Flyers as it does not roll to-hit.
