This will be a WIP log for both my Sons of Horus Marines and some Word Bearers.

Nice start, I like what I see! For me it was a toss up between luna wolves and imperial fists, I went with the not so mellow yellow in the end. Count me a subscriber

I'm really looking forward to tackling the Word Bearers as well.  Since I'm looking at an Istvaan V army, I'll be doing both Grey and Crimson Word Bearers, so it should be pretty fun to experiment with their schemes.

Your use of Vallejo was what threw me off identifying the specific shade as I've never used that brand. I've heard there's a shop locally that supplies Vallejo, so I might have a look into seeing if they're something I'd use in future.

I'm particularly looking forward to seeing your Word Bearers. You mentioned doing their grey and crimson armour, are you going to be doing the grey with some form of script on it?

Yup, the grey will have a dark script all over it and the crimson will have the typical Word Bearers white script!

I think I might do up some dead bodies of Salamanders and Raven Guard for the bases... Any thoughts?

Dead Ravens I think the Sallies green wont give much contrast against the sea green. Maybe some augmetic Iron hands bits would be more Istvaan V? I always thought the SoH held the ridge with the EC's against the Iron hands assault, whilst the Ravens and Sallies followed up Ferrus Manus' impetuous attack, hence why they suffered worst against the Iron warriors, Night Lords and Word Bearers.

I am waiting for the next book to be released! I want to digest all the Word Bearer goodness before I start on them! Not to much longer now though!
