Quixus Posted June 23, 2013 Share Posted June 23, 2013 At least in Latin it should be "Leo vult". Leonis would be the possessive case. Leo illud vult/Leo vult illud (the verb usually is at the end of the sentence) would translate more closely to "the Lion wants/wills that". If you do not omit the pronoun (which is the usual practice in Latin unless you want to put particular emphasis on it) it should be "Leo id vult". But GW seems to like to make High Gothic as word with Latin roots with screwed up grammar. So do whatever you like. And while you're at it how about adpating another famous quote form the crusades: Caedite eos. Novit enim Imperator qui sunt eius. Kill them (all). For the Emperor knows those who are his.
