facmanpob
...and specifically about their 35ml Black Wash.....I used to love Badab Black, and have never really had the same results with the new Citadel equivalent, Nuln Oil. The new Citadel shades have their uses, but their properties are different from the old washes. My question is simple. Can anyone with experience of the Vallejo Black Wash please let me know if it is comparable to the old Badab Black? Dark Bjoern
The Vallejo Games Colors are one to one the same as the old GW colors, even the washes. One of my hobby stores have a selfpainted comparision tabell for GW and Games Colors. exact the same. S.k.i.t.t.l.e
Maybe its just my bottle, but my Vallejo Black Wash can come out a little chalky sometimes, or maybe I'm not shaking it well enough or something. But I never had that problem with the Badab Black from GW. Still like it though. :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/277264-question-regarding-vallejo-paint/#findComment-3400332 Share on other sites
Razblood
Army Painter's Dark Tone is a better alternative since it's pretty much Badab Black in a bottle  Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/277264-question-regarding-vallejo-paint/#findComment-3400361 Share on other sites

Razblood
I can also recommend Coat D'Arms Super Wash Black, it is possibly the best Black wash I've ever had the pleasure of using. Chaeron
Army Painter's Dark Tone is a better alternative since it's pretty much Badab Black in a bottle Bingo, Dark and Strong Tone are a perfect match for Devlan Mud and Badab Black. Cannot recommend them highly enough! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/277264-question-regarding-vallejo-paint/#findComment-3401635 Share on other sites
