I'm currently painting a squad of cataphractii terminators - this guy is the first - and I need some advice on the leather straps under the shoulder guards and in the crotch area... I'm going for brown, but how do I get them to look less flat? Jus thighlight with lighter brown? I'm colourblind so have real problems painting in browns and greens!! That's not to say its a bad thing or disproportionate in anyway... But that's about the size of a child's hand when you think about it... Reminds us of how brutal and uncaring war is. Well done. I guess the age I'm trying to represent is when the world eaters went postal (basically heresy time) and cared not from whence the blood flowed. I think once they found angron they didn't care where it flowed from. You would have thought the emperor would have sanctioned them before it got to the outbreak of the heresy. Also the world eaters were apparently great for storming a break in a fortress wall! Anyway, I got distracted from my terminator (happens) but he's coming along ok.
