Ironandforge
Good day Brothers, in the HH can a squad of 20 tac marines take multipul drop pods as a single transport option. under the orbital assualt it says that a unit may take drop pods as a transport. does this mean i can drop 20 man units or do i need to break them in to 10 man squads. cheers, iron Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/277496-drop-pods-as-dedicated-transports/ Share on other sites
spikyjames
The main thing to consider is this question "does it say anywhere that you can?" if not then the answer is no. A drop pod has a transport capacity of ten therefore the maximum squad size that can deploy in one is ten. Hopefully that answers your question. hisdudeness
I second the response. As the norm, one squad cannot be in two transports. No where are we told that large squad size changes this. Raven Angel
Going back and checking it is pretty clear. only a unit eligible to tack a Rhino may take Drop pods and the Rhino specifically requiers a ten man squad or smaller.
