3DJutsu Posted July 1, 2013 Share Posted July 1, 2013 Hey again all, 3D here with more questions. Normally I'd post this in the conversion forums but I need advice from people familiar with DA bits. I have the limited edition Combi-Plas Company commander and have decided to make him my Azrael and I'm trying to decide on how to model the Sword of Secrets. I took a pair of Blades of Caliban and chopped off the hands, took the remaining hilts and cut the pommel off of one, glued them together and then to one of the blades. What I can't figure out is where to put it, at first I figured poking out horizontally under the combi-weapon with the blade cut down to give it a sheathed look. But it comes off as weird and unreal since the cape flows where it would fall flat on the blade. Then I thought maybe sticking out of the ground in front of him, but that looked akward as well. Would it be legal for me to mount him on a Termie base so I can slap a Chaos Marine corpse on there to 'hold' the sword? Beyond that, anyone else have any ideas? Although you don't even need the Watcher, as the model serves no purpose on the battlefield.....I just say that my Azrael actually wears the helmet into battle, and uses the Sword! There is no reason the watcher from the DW box cannot be used for both...
