Dam13n
To expand upon the above picure: http://i352.photobucket.com/albums/r358/MatthewDaunt/move2_zpsc976b4c8.png You have still covered only (12+2D6)" using a jumping dreadknight etc. Even inverting my example makes no difference to the proceedings as you still have to start inside your deployment zone. To me this method makes sense, as described in Gent's follow up topic elsewhere in this forum. Spacefrisian
What about starting side ways, measure move distance from center of base, swiffel it at end possition, than pray for double 6 charge range. I think that was meant by the guy who said this. Spinsanity
How come so many think that a final pivot is not part of the move? At the end of your move, you're allowed to have moved 6" or 12"; since the pivot IS part of the move, you shouldn't have moved more than that distance once the pivot is factored in... If you look at the diagram on Page 10 of the BRB, you measure from the forward edge to the forward edge, not center to center. + Edit : fixed code (oups, lol) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/277586-first-turn-assault/page/2/#findComment-3407240 Share on other sites
