Dunedon
I'm wondering how hard it will be to remove any of the Inquisition iconography from the Grey Knights minatures? I can work around the book/sword icon with a chapter icon I'm toying with that is similar, but I'd like to get rid of anything that is inquisition specific if possible. FYI, looking to start a new custom chapter with DA rules, but I absolutely love the GK armour so I'm hoping to do a fair bit of "counts as" and modifications to make it come together. Anyone with experience filing down or cutting the GK figures have an opinion on if this will be possible, or am I just looking at a lost cause. Disruptor_fe404
I'd recommend filing, which it sounds like you're already aware of. It's not too difficult, just be careful. For the more prominent stuff, cover it up with gubbins and bitz. p34ce
If you mean the inset icons and 'Titan' type writing, get yourself some green stuff. Take a tiny amount, shove it into the icon or lettering, and smooth it with your finger. Later on, do what you'd normally do for any other mould line or defect (sand paper of choice). Primer will make it disappear. Filing is a bit extreme, but should work if you're careful. People never seem to care about the inscriptions and inset Inquisition icon, it bugs the hell out of me seeing a SM librarian with 'Ordo Mallevs Titan' written all over him, lol.
