Brother_Vaas Posted July 8, 2013 Share Posted July 8, 2013 Hello one and all So first things first, I have long dreamt of owning and playing with a mostly-all Forgeworld army and since I received a bonus from work I decided that I would get this project off the ground and start a Works in Progress for the Carcharodon Astra army that I have dreamed of for many, many months. So why this Chapter? Well I love the Iconography and Colour scheme of the Chapter as well as the Fleet Based nature, more then this I love the fact that they complete their battles in utter silence.. Anyways first purchase http://i1198.photobucket.com/albums/aa447/ratvan85/2013-07-08193503_zpsb2bf9239.jpg 30x MK IV Maximus Power Armoured Marines with Tigrus Pattern Bolters, and obviously a Carcharodon Transfer Sheet http://i1198.photobucket.com/albums/aa447/ratvan85/2013-07-08193536_zpsfc737813.jpg So I have an armylist in mind and the first things that I require is a load of Close Combat Weapon Arms and Bolt Pistols as well as some Meltaguns. Brother_Vaas Posted July 8, 2013 Author Share Posted July 8, 2013 I'm quite looking forward to the 'simple' scheme and more forgiving colours after painting so much Yellow (still waiting on that damn primer to arrive) I am hoping that by going for a simple scheme I can concentrate more on the model build and detail works, I hope to try my hand at some OSL at some point on these miniatures. Anyways enough waffling more pictures.
