wolf guard

As far as I know, wolves don't have the same ability as vanilla marines to split into combat squads, they work more in a pack so they stick together. The only other way I could see something like this is having two different squads in one drop pod, but I'm pretty sure that's not legal either.

Then... if I were you... Id dot he following:

Drop the Lone Wolf. Hes fun, but hes extra.

Get two of the same special on your GHs, its a little more expensive to have two plasmaguns, but its worth it. Bump the first pack to 10 guys, drop your RP with one of the WG packs.

Split the WG pack into two units and have each snag a DP.

Get a DP for the one of the GHs, so you can bring in two pods turn one- probably both WG pods, but you have the option of bringing in Melta-hunters if you want. That would allow you to keep a full strength kick-ass scoring unit in reserves for a couple turns while you trim down the competition.
