Larden
Hello, A little question. Yesterday i thought about adding some iconography to blank parts of my marines, and had a thought about painting liquid greenstuff on it to create volume. Have anyone tried this before? and if someone tried, was he succesfull. Please share your experience. Thanks in advance! carnosaur93
i havnt tried this exact thing, but ive used liquid GS quite abit... i dont think it would work, is the short answer... the thing is, it dries sorta brittle, and have alot of shrinkage when it dries as its not a chemical hardening like regular GS, liquid GS is basicly just glorified and finer wood filler with color added to it, it dries by the water in it evaporating Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/277913-hello-question-about-liquid-greenstuff-from-gw/#findComment-3410007 Share on other sites
Mahoo
Yeah I don't think you'd have much joy with it for iconography. I used it to create a bit of texture for the lava flow on my bases. Didn't work. As Carnosaur said, it shrinks far too much to be of any use. Even if it did put out smooth results you'd need to build it up for days before it would actually show. Tanhausen
Use regular green stuff, its usually the best way :) If for bases, putty or even some kind of clays work pretty good.
