I actually quite like the Chaos Marine box, being compatible with all the other power armored kits, I just live kit bashing them with possessed, berserkers, space wolves, blood angels and loyalist bits. I also blend in some scout bits (mostly pouches and ropes), empire bits (swords and decorations) and obviously Warriors of Chaos. I know the kit gets a lot of flak, but if it all looked like the chosen it wouldn't kit bash as nicely! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Also nearly all my models are totally WYSIWYG with bolt pistols, CCW's, etc. Many champions come with ubergrit (marines, havocs, noise marines, plague marines), but it's often forgotten. They look great. I love the variety of bitz you've thrown in, the space wolf heads are a good fit. Always nice to see other people using chaos warrior/knight helms, too. I like it quite a bit, it reminds me of the old Chaos Marine plastic arm sprues, where some of them were actually wearing leather gloves! I've been slacking off on painting lately, I know... But I've still been building plenty of grey plastic men! I've built a squad of 20 Chaos Marines with combat weapons, but haven't taken any pictures of them yet.
