DarKnight
I don't particularly care for the format, seeing as how there are to be 12 releases at $3.99 a pop, but lets get to the actual story..... I enjoyed it for the most part. I'm a sucker for a Legion/Chapter induction story, and these were done well for the time allowed. What I HATED though was that the V was supposed to be some kind of consolation prize for not being good enough for the XVI. I can understand him wanting to be a Luna Wolf over a White Scar, what with the Wolves training him and that being his goal, but not being in the top twenty-five should eliminate you from Astartes ascension period, if anything. I don't want to think that there's tiers or something. I also appreciated the acknowledgement of the implicit racial/ethic differences between the Legions, with their Homeworlds and their Terran brothers. It's a huge galaxy for there to be 19 Legions of white guys with cockney accents, and one Legion of Asian guys with cockney accents. (I kid. Kinda) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/278203-scars-chapter-i/ Share on other sites
