Will Daemons be introduced as Allies?

Recommended Posts

It is certainly a possibility. According to the HH event, the EC are already getting their Kakophoni Noise Marines. I don't think we'll see them any earlier than the Signus and/or Calth books(I can't remember if they were two separate books or one book; Depends which one is first) but yeah, I definitely think we will see them eventually.
Specific Deamons maybe? We have primarchs summoning Deamons aka lorgar and Magnus at terra. Could you imagine what the gods gifted to them as allies? This isn't like yeah whatever lets try keep humanity feeding us, it was the big play to kill the emperor and enslave mankind time to pull out the big guns

One of these days, I'd like to see a Doombreed vs Jaghatai Khan fight. The Daemon who might have been the Khan, against the Primarch based upon the Khan. It'd be an interesting sight.

Has it been confirmed there'll be Daemon allies (and list)? They'd be foolish not to, but then perhaps they'd see no need. They're not doing any of the xenos, since they're by and large the same or not yet a threat. What difference would there be between 30k and 40k Daemons?

Who needs power weapons and bolters when you can fire arrows with greater deamons bound in them?

It would be interesting to see the modelers perspective on doomy because hes described as not looking like other bloodthirsters and actually is supposed to have a cool head (like pre heresy Khârn).

but when he does get mad....hoo boy welcome to the raepe train where for eternity you have to muck out flying juggernaut stalls....

I believe it was said at.... HH Weekender? Somewhere a few months ago that after Massacre and Extermination (Isstvan V book 1 and 2) we'll get the next trilogy of books, Prospero, Calth and Signus (don't remember the order). Prospero will have SW, TS, Custodes and Sisters of Silence, Calth will have Ultramarines, more Word Bearers, Imperial Army and Traitors and Signus will have BA and Khorne and Slaanesh daemons.

Most likely would have been the HH weekender since that was when the order of the books was confirmed by Forgeworld and the next books awere confirmed to be NL, WB, IH and Sallies, and then AL, RG, IW and IF. IIRC, trypically every single book will contain at least one new unit for the previously published Legions. By the end of it, there will most likely be at least 18 fully unique armies in just the Legion department, not counting the Mechanicus, Imperial Army and who knows who else.

Of course, the daemons just might be a republishing, FW unique models with HH compatible rules. Doesn't necessarily have to be "in a glass, darkly" just compatible with a game that primarily focuses on Horde Space Marine armies being led by Primarchs.
