Will we get a DA faq when new C:SM is released?

C:UM Tacticals losing lascannon and plasma cannon options while gaining HF/F and dual melta options would certainly make us different from them, without really being able to say that one is solidly better than the other...

We'll see this. I jsut looked pictures of all things pre-order and digital department of the GW's homepages. Sprues look so amazing. In Faeit's blog there was a army builder in digital version's screen shot and in that was Tactical marines squad. Its options were interesting: heavy Weapons: Heavy Flamer, Meltagun, heavy bolter and Missile launcher. Special Weapons Grav Gun, Meltagun, Plasma gun and Flamer. If this is true, vanilla tacticals would lose plasma cannons and lasgcannons.... However this might be just tampered picture or something in GW's misinformation campaign before actual release. However if this is true, it would make our tacticals different from vanilla's. However, everything before release must be taken with a grain of salt.

If you read one of Faeit212's later entries, he has added a further caveat:

the Force Requisition screenshot of the Tactical marines is not accurate. That's a really old image of a previous build with a lot of place holders, it doesn't have the correct wargear choices listed.

I prefer paying for that than being obliged to pay for a melta gun that's not in the box like it used to be

Its in there...  The recut sprue has it.

>Had this discussion with my friend tonight. We are both DA players and not Space Marine. I found it very funny to see the Storm Raven in the space marine line up. So now the GK and BA aren't exclusive anymore, color me surprised (sarcasism). The funny looking mini dreads, don't want them anyway, just GW's answer for oblits in the C:SM, but that's me. Now the new tank, lets hack off all the other codex's for 6th and make it to where the flyer sales go way down. Of course a lot of this really remains to be seen until dex release. The only errata I want is skilled rider on ravenwing, again that's just me. Our dex was broken the day it was released but as dedicated DA players, we push on.  So I guess we will see what happens in a week.

Oh and what's wrong with drying cats in the microwave, haha! That was a good one, made my day.

That has been added to the blue codex since "Death from the Skies and would have had to been FAQed out of that book if they didnt have it.

Oh, sorry, none of my group got that book, hahaha. Well it's good I play GK so I have one, well, wait, I don't play regular marines just DA, hmph.

Well they did release a FAQ today.  Nothing for DA yet, but they nerfed the servo arm for everybody else to bring them in line with ours, removing the bonus attack feature.  It's too bad really, because it makes the power sword and power axe useless for a techmarine when you can take a lightning claw and benefit from the Specialist Weapon rule.

Yeah I don't see any magenta in the BRB. Doesn't mean they changed something and forgot to put it to magenta though ermm.gif

The others however looks like just like what Syphid said. Errata on the servo arms for other chapters.

Well it is annoying that the Deathwing Sergeant thing hasnt been fixed especially since its been reported multiple times. I am betting that it is still coming. even though it would fly in the face of past experience.

That would be cool.

It would also be cool if our apoths could have a bolt pistol and a ccw like c:sm can.

I don't think the DW Sergeant will be changing. In the new C:SM, their regular TDA Sgt is also locked into the Power Sword/Storm Bolter configuration. Granted, their Assault version isn't, but perhaps GW is only aligning the shooting squad and our DW squad and only leaving us the assault weapons for non-Sgts.

Yes... the flexible wargear of the DW... cool...

Now mr sgt yopu are DW... we are gonna glue to your hands SB and PS cause you learned in your past as a tactical, assault, devastator, RW sgt to use multpiple wargears now your training will be wasted...

Go home GW, you are drunk!

It's possible they'll FAQ our scouts to match point value of scouts from C:SM. They are only 11 points a model as opposed to our 12, and Sniper Rifles are +1 point a model rather than a free swap.

It's a minor difference, but a difference nonetheless. Means boltgun or CCW scouts might actually be worth taking.

Would also be nice of them to let our Tac squad and Scout sergeants to take teleport homers, but I don't see that happening.

I'll be shocked if they don't FAQ down the points value of Land Raider Redeemers to match that of C:SM as well, because it's just 5 points cheaper and there's no difference in the default loadout.

I think they will not errata/FAQ anything... if they wanted they would already did it...

Our flyers will be still overcosted,,, the LSV only some wasted sprue pace on the DS kit and the BoC only a cool looking sword to give to IC...

I will wait for some changes in 4 years with 7th edition codex...

I dont want anymore errata and FAQs from GW about DA that nerf things like PFG or DW sgt... Pls let the DA be untouched...

and... Go home GW, you're drunk...!!!
