Brother Chaplain Ryld
Hi there, I'm having real difficulty lining up the tracks on my LR spartan. The last track to go on overlaps the next by half a tread. I have tried all sorts of fiddling to make them fit, but no luck. Did anyone else have this trouble with their spartan? It's quite a bad design if this is the best fit I can get. Thanks. depthcharge12
Yeah I had the same problem. I love the spartan to death but assembling made me cry a lot and almost raege quit. I gave into the pressure and attached the tracks normally but a little bit up so theres still space inbetween the tracks themselves and the runners. Its not too noticable as long as you dont look at it too hard and when you paint it up it should be even less visable. Im really iffy about cutting up fw models because its less forgiving than plastic and hard to fix if you make a mistake. some people have claimed to cut the bad track out but that would leave a considerable gap. Brother Chaplain Ryld
Mine don't line up on the underside of the tank. So cutting the tracks looks like the only option. I might just cut the tracks flush with each other and not worry about the links lining up. It shouldn't be seen unless the tank is flipped upside down. Thanks guys.
