Praetors of Orpheus

Hi guys, this is (hopefully) going to be a thread detailing the growth of a small Praetors of Orpheus force which I will try and get ready for Armies on Parade next year.

I'm looking at including a captain with command squad, terminator squad, sternguard squad, tactical squad and some centurions deploying via deep strike into a contested city.

The only model I've currently started work on is my terminator sergeant. I'm going to detail the torso a bit more but plan on press moulding it for the remaining members. As such it will get more embellishments and ornaments after the mould has been made.

Here he is.

I know there's not a lot to go on but I would appreciate feedback especially if you have any ideas.

Bit of an update already. Blocking out basic pose for the sergeant, think its going to be a standard tactical terminator squad so he'll have a power weapon if some description unless I can find a suitable tasty looking hammer head.

And a rough idea for the standard bearer. He'll have his arm resting on the hilt of his sword, will mean I'm likely going to need to re-sculpt at least past of his cloak, but then if he's getting one the rest of the squad will need them too so if better practice making them :)

A bit of work on the legs of the standard terminators. Still need cleaning and some of the putty is pretty fresh. Doubt these guys will get the armoured cod piece part that's on the sergeant, they also won't get the eagle decoration present on parts of the sergeants armour.

Terminator sergeant shoulder pad. Just a press mould of the crux, not 100% satisfied so will probably prise it off and recast it.the small piece of G'S on the protractor is to go on the models left arm to be the same as the right arm from the Grey Knight terminators.

Terminator sergeant legs, note the stylised Aquila on the extra knee armour. Still need some cleaning up.

Sternguard torso. This'll get press moulded like the terminator torso and then have additional details added to it so that they can all have similar armour but still be individual.

Roll on payday when I can buy the tentacle greenstuff maker and the press moulding kit I need....

Oh, I was thinking due to their close ties with the adeptus mechanicus I was planning on replacing the wax parts of the purity seals with small cog pieces. Any thoughts??

Been working on a possible torso for a company champion for the command squad. Based on the artwork of Garro from the Horus Heresy art book. Only blocking out the details at the moment, left wing (as we look at it) in particular need clean up.

Might end up using the Emperor's Children Palatine Blades as the base model though as they are wonderful looking models... Depends whether I can get this looking nice and also if I want to drop £35 on them...
