DIY Unforgiven: help with paint scheme

I am doing a DIY DA successor chapter and need some help. The main colors are black and yellow as shown in the first picture below. What I need help with is the trim color in the second picture. I used red on the tactical arrow and gun as the DA do, but I am not sure it really meshes. Feedback welcome, just remember the main colors aren't changing.

I agree with the idea about the helmet colour. Obviously they are WIP, but the yellow almost seems a little too bright at present and it draws the eye away from the head (although once they're finished, that may not be the case). The red adds warmth but can also be a bit of a distraction if not handled well. It looks alright at present, but as GMB suggests it might actally help if it were a touch lighter. What colour are you planning to paint the chest eagle?

Gillyfish: The yellow will be toned down through weathering and/or wash. I am thinking that Aquilla and DA icons will be done in a stone coloring which is actually on this model. The highlighting just sucks on this guy.
