Quick question on replacing shadow grey

Just checking if I have this right, basically. I've heard that Vallejo sombre grey is the best replacement on the market for the old GW shadow grey, and I wanted to check with a forum before going out of my way to get some.

 

The reason I want a replacement is to use a couple of old colour recipes that call for shadow grey, and none of the current GW paints are a close enough match for my liking. I have a pot of Vallejo's wolf grey and I'm very happy with it as a replacement for space wolf grey, so I think I'm on the right track here, but again, just double-checking.
