Something to do with the minimalist shading, I think :P I'm not much of a fan of the Nurgle marine, and he seems a bit below the bar set by your other two portraits. The Techmarine is easily the best of the lot, with only perhaps a slightly too long left arm as an apparent flaw. I'd not think twice about calling it a truly professional drawing. The chest of the third guy is a bit lopsided, but again, an overall excellent piece. I'd love to see what would happen if you had the patience to put fine detail into the whole of that last piece.
