robertn1
so here im wondering about how this idea comes across a gamer who played for year and still to this day has to play list development on the table top and do home work on fourms. i come across with a friend of my recently and a someone new i played trading models and building an army i about to paint a week or two. because everyone go through trail and error all the time with 40k and sometimes gets a sour taste having to play this way. but yet it works because it show what units work well with other and some stuff need to prepared. why 10, 20, or 30 games i ask my self? because everyone need to work on a idea to make there a better table top player or competitor sense were all in to win the game or get a hell of an effort to beat or buddy up and down the table. truly there is no lose of love i have been beating for along time but that come around once and a while after some goes through 10 or 20 games of list writing and development. crazy as it sound this acutal work in real life. but what make it really funny that telling some this is a funny and there draw drops saying that it work just try and you see. for everyone else who go on the fourm reading and posting. everyone does what i do but let go a step farther 30 game in a new book you tend to see everything that you played and love or hate in the codex that been played over and over again. no matter who the opp is i worry more about the dancing against a bad or good player then the win now. because i feel that a good game comes for being the better player(i not say throw the game but keep him in the game as long as possible). i end with this these 10,20,30 or just 5 games show what kind player your gong to be not just to your self but to other. have fun kick but i see you on the table. WarriorFish
I'm not entirely sure what you're talking about Are you talking about developing an army through multiple lists? I think everyone does that, and I'd go as far to say that a fair few like myself never really stop. The only time I've ever run the same list twice is when I've had to as part of a league or some such! Though as more of a hobby player I don't think I'd be able to just collect an army and go "well, there's my 1500pt list I'll stop now" If I like a unit then I'll get it and paint it up eventually and use it in my lists. The rules merely decide how often it appears The best game is one between good "sportsmen" that is a closely run competition throughout every turn with victory coming down to a knife edge - with both sides having equal luck on the rolls of course Winning is the icing on the cake, the rest is having a good time Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/279180-one-army-10-20-30-games-turn-around/#findComment-3440423 Share on other sites
