Demus Ragnok
So I'm trying to get a shade of bronze. This is my latest idea, a dry brush of Auric Armor Gold over black. http://i1306.photobucket.com/albums/s565/nick_buchanan1/2afbe132-46f9-4d95-bce0-65a2352be550_zpsfca172b8.jpg This was my first try. Same gold dry brush over Vallejo Beasty Brown. http://i1306.photobucket.com/albums/s565/nick_buchanan1/5d77bb49-5923-483e-9640-46886e0de72b_zps7d3f9480.jpg I'm going for a darker bronze rather than gold. So far I like the black base better, but I don't know what step to add next as far as highlights or a wash. DarkMark
Pick up a bottle of Vallejo's Tinny Tin or Brassy Brass, and solve your problem much easier. Are Vallejo's colors really named like this? hahahaha Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/279256-help-with-color-scheme/#findComment-3442673 Share on other sites
DarkMark
Yep, from their Game Color range. They've got all sorts of silly names, more importantly though the colours match the old GW range for those that need it. skawolf
Yeah I haven't used Vallejo for over ten years. When I used their colors they were called stuff like "German uniform green".
