Lord_Urbonov
So, I decided to use the new Warpsmith as a Sorcerer, and the idea came to me to paint his mechanical tentacles as warp energy constructs. So, my painting question is, how should I go about this? Basecoat it white, then follow with a light blue and maybe edge with white and apply a gloss? If anyone has any suggestions, tips, or anything I'd really appreciate it. Brother Nezulius
First tip I can give you is: get an airbrush! Makes your life so much easier when you want to get an OSL / glow effect. Here is an example of how it is done with an airbrush: If you don't have an airbrush and you want to accomplish the effect with just a brush, then you can watch this movie: I can advise you to first try it on some random test bits before going to work on your precious models. Good luck! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/279403-painting-energy-constructs/#findComment-3445326 Share on other sites
