Token
Good stuff, Clean painting. Good freehand, that helmet (Think its orange) is cool. Is there some story behind it? Konnavaer
Very nice work so far brother, I'm more of a fan of the bare headed wolves myself but having said that I have to echo what the rest of the guys have said and congratulate you on the helm with the pack markings too, that looks great Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/279438-my-spacewolves-plog-from-start-to/page/2/#findComment-3837145 Share on other sites
MithrilForge
thanks for the attention guys the helm is a dirty yellow & black(wolf guard colours) but it looks orangey in the pics, it was just on a whim to try and make the termie helms look a bit more wolfy without adding/modelling stuff onto them. im still undecided to either use it or a bare head...depends how i go with the rest of the squad..i may save it for a pack of S/S storm bolter equipped foot slogging termies later on...they would more likely seem to really need the helmet mithril Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/279438-my-spacewolves-plog-from-start-to/page/2/#findComment-3838501 Share on other sites
Fenhunter
Welcome to the deathwolf's company! i'm painting the same one, but i focus more on TWC and a "fluffy" listFor the shoulderpads, i'd advice on "converting" the Logan Grimnar company decal, painting over the moon and just freehanding the Sun, i'm doing that currently and makes things pretty easier! Dantay VI
Hi Mithril, Welcome back to the Aett. Gotta say your mini's look great. I especially like the freehand eathwolf symbol. I gotta ask, how on earth did you keep your pack markings so neat and get those lines all straight?? Mine just become a squiggly mess to the pint I haven't even bothered to do them anymore. MithrilForge
heya dantay_xv - the pack markings are...unfortunately... practice practice practice i do use the lighter colour first and try and neaten up with the darker colour, i always mark a dot on each end where the line will go. i have in the past used Yelow Tamiya tape before when i first started trying to do lines, it helps a lot and needs minimal correction thnx for looking.
