Here are some pics of my WIP wolfguard termie from Harald Deathwolf's Great Co.

the grey base color is tamiya Ghost Grey. the rest is standard GW colors.

not sure how to do snowy rock like bases...will practice some search-fu shortly

first 2 shots are early wip and the third is where he's nearly done except for some trim bits and the shoulder pad.

im trying to do my wolves to a table top standard,this test model was pretty quick to do(for me)

so im confidant i can crank out a small army in a few weeks(fingers crossed).

Good stuff. How do you do your red hair and that gold details?

@token -  the red hair is done with a vomit brown base coat,then a 50/50 vomit brown/macharias solar orange layer then

a pure orange(watered down) highlight. then a very light sepia wash.

Gold is 50/50 any  "layer" brown / shining gold as a base coat then its 2 medium layers of shining gold with a sepia wash in between.

@dss7 - the shield does pop a bit...in a good way

jamsight - its an easy gold and gives good results make sure its a medium to dark brown with the first mix,i used doombull brown if i recall,

it really helps it to create a good base for the other 2 coats of gold(no time consuming multiple coats)

here's the freehand shoulder pad done,next to do is the base...

@BCK - yeah i have that downloaded

but iirc there are no ones of the wolf facing right...they are all for left shoulder pad (the models left )

so thats why i have done it freehand...trust me, i would've done it decal if i could...
