Will Alpha Legion have Recon Squads as troops?

I really hope Bligh avoids your mindset WoT, that off AL being recon heavy and hide-in-the-shadows a la raven guard. In my opinion Alpha Legion would be more suited with callidus-esque shenanigans that mess with the opponents army, although I doubt Bligh will have the cojones to mess so much with the opponent's army like I am hoping for.

Instead I've set my hopes for stuff like upgraded Seekers (Ap 3 bolt rounds would satisfy me after a while and would suit the AL mindset) and other fancy stuff that focuses on offensively messing with the opponents army using your own units, rather than have his army mess with himself like AL should do.

I agree with them playing havoc with the enemy army, so far you can only really do it with the vigilator.

It was more due to me thinking about what are safe options to get if I was about to start a HH escalation campaign As I need troops I was hoping it may be ok just using the recon troops and ignoring the support option, other wise I guess I'll have to go with normal legion tactical squads.

As of now If I can't have recon units as troops, I'll have to go with a vigilator, two 10 man tactical squads, then perhaps an outflanking recon unit accompanying an outflanking veteran unit and finally a seeker unit for the vigilator to go with and perhaps a contemptor. I don't want anything that is particularly noisy fluff wise so I'm trying to avoid tanks.

HAH!

Alpha Legion has always been, and will always be about synchronised swimming...eeerrr, I mean synchronized strikes from all angles. :P

Coordination is our hallmark, and to use the unexpected angles is our expertise! The infiltration and shenanigans are just ways to achieve this...
