Founded M37 23rd founding IMPERIAL FISTS GENE SEED Figure of legend Former chapter master Lord Reynard Leventhrop Lord Reynard Leventhorp Deed: Martyr was struck low by a lone ork kommando during a battle against the greenskins while trying to stop a failed Ork incursion of Agraxian primaris. His senior knight commander Thomasine Ryall took over command of the chapter and now leads them with the same headstrong and inspiring leadership of his former lord. Chapter. Planet Located in the galactic south in the Segmentum Tempestus. Located just within the hell Stars in sub sector Agraxia. Some believe they sword breakers were created to strengthen the imperial presence within the region. Agraxia primaris is a feudal world with few advancements in technology. It is believed that the chapter has something to do with Agraxian's lack of technological development the believe the feudal houses and regional lords provide a excellent proving ground to provide aspirants. The chapter maintains their fortress monestary on the planets primary moon safe from prying eyes so they can preform their chapter rituals in seclusion. The chapter only makes planet fall to hold feats of arms every 50 years to look for new aspirants. Agraxia is a mountainous world originally colonized for mineral harvesting. The chapter maintains a stewardship over the local systems planets ( all of which are inhabited) the leaders of these plants garrison their planets provide recruits for the sword breakers auxiliary defense force. All of these ADF's contribute to the System defense forces...that maintain void security over the sub sector.. They believe the codex has its place and time to be implemented however, not always this led to to divergence of the brotherhoods, these are the chapters version of a standard battle company. The chapter maintains no dedicated scout company...aspirants are inducted into the brotherhood that is stationed on the moon at the time of their ascension.. Close combat siege support but use armor and vehicles for fire support. While most neophytes fight along their junior brothers..some show great promise in their marksmanship and intelligence gathering skills. These brother are put into recon platoons to provide forward observers on the battle field and to exploit the enemies weakness's before the full assault begins. These scouts are trained by Veteran battle brothers of their own brotherhood until deemed worthy of full astartes status. Use wargear that is blessed by chaplains and tediously taken care of by the individual battle brother....leaving tech marines to focus on more substantial projects...this leads to a very unique looking chapter with battle brothers adorning their own armor as they see fit. Most battle brothers still prefer to use their holy bolter and chainsword...due to them being sons of dorn they are excellent siege masters as well as defenders. They venerate the emperor above all others The chapter is at normal strength due to continual supply of new neophytes.. Friends admech Hated foes Choas legions and traitors (word bearers) For their betrayal of the imperium and the death of the emperor Greenskins of the Goff clan For the death of one of the chapters most beloved Hero's Lord Reynard Lenventhorp The sword breakers Go without to much ostentatious behavior the believe it is their mission to bring the emperors will to all the dark place so they was little time ob such petty embellishments...sword brothers use more read and gold in their armor to show their allegiance and sacrifice to the holy crusade to rid the sector from the Greenskin and chaos traitor menace. Ok if you read this far please C&C this is just barebones.... Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/279573-sword-breakers/ Share on other sites

Nakuth
Just one issue from my brief read so far: It would be difficult for the renegades the chapter is directly countering to be an Astral Claws/red Corsairs splinter. The Badab war was early M41, some several thousand years after the chapter's founding. Now, if they were originally assigned to counter a different group, and were so effective as to wipe it out, it would make sense for them to be reassigned. A possible tie-in for the hatred of the Oficio Assassinorium: Maybe some of the founding cadre were from the Halo Brethren? Although their gene-seed has not be confirmed (meaning it could possibly be from Dorn), they were one of three chapters (including the Imperial Fists and Sable Swords - who you could also use), who sent a force to eliminate the Grand Master of Assassins back in M.32. It was included in the 5th edition BRB, but is also mentioned in the Lexicanum entry, here. Nakuth
SB? Sorry, do you mean Sword Brother/battle brother? I'm on a work computer, so I can only view some images. Your scout, for example, is visible, but the other image isn't. I will have a look when I'm home over the weekend.
