@ Deathspectresrg7: Ok brother, will post some pics of the new Revenant Headhunter and the Sword Bearers Chaplains I finished a while back. How did the fluff writing go?
@ Furioso-prime: Fine by me mate smile.png, as long as it's ok with Aquilanus & Deathspectresrg7 as well. Actually, as the Ordo Xenos declared the Jagga Crusade, it's more than likely that they'd dispatch a detachment of their own Chamber Militant to the campaign as well msn-wink.gif .
Here's the Sword Bearers pics:

Headhunters are a type of specialist assault squad used by the Sword Bearers Second Company to assassinate enemy psykers. More fluff for them can be found in my thread in the DA forum.

And finally for today, here's a tiny bit of introductory fluff for the Black Guard:

Although your hands and memories are stained black with the terrors we have unleashed, let your hearts and conscience be pure and untroubled. The shame of our actions is mine to bear, and bear alone. Your task is complete, go now and rejoin your legion brothers. I will commend these lost souls to the Emperor's peace, and offer him my own in atonement for sins both terrible and necessary.”

Attributed to Corvus Corax, Primarch of the XIX Legion Adeptus Astartes, addressing the surviving members of the Black Guard, immediately prior to the event known within Chapter records as the Purge of the Ravenspire.

@ furioso-prime: Thanks mate smile.png The guy with the two swords is actually a Revenant, a member of the Sword Bearer's second company. They all wear skull death masks. The detailed fluff for them is here http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/topic/272544-sword-bearers/page-2 (specifically in posts 38 and 45) .

How are the Black Templars coming along? Are they going to be contributing forces to the Jagga Crusade? We're still waiting for some Deathwatch to report in msn-wink.gif

Anyway, speaking of fluff, here's the first part of a Black Guard story:

Against the skyline, mountains were moving. Artificial mountains, created of iron and steel rather than stone and earth, which made their immense size even more breathtaking. Crafted by unwilling human hands to a xenos design, every one was unique, despite following the same basic template. Each was a crude representation of an alien god, built to a scale that dwarfed everything in the surrounding landscape. But these were more than mere religious monuments. They were war machines: massive, mobile fortresses bristling with weapons and destructive intent. The physical embodiment of the Ork's desire for violence, death and conquest.

To the Imperium of Man they were simply known as Gargants, and here, on the forest world of Silva II, on the border of the Jagga Empire, they were being built in their hundreds.

***

He hung nearly ninety meters in the air, his suspension harness anchored to the trunk of the great Bloodbirch tree. Even with gene enhanced strength it had taken an hour to climb to this position, painstakingly carving out every hand hold in the hard, slippery bark with his combat knife. An unusual chemical reaction occurred whenever the tree's sap came into contact with the air, causing it to run a bright, ruby red. His power armour, freshly painted in a Codex approved camouflage scheme, was now streaked with crimson following his accent.

For three days he stayed almost motionless. At this height he was far above the main canopy, allowing him to observe the Gargant construction site itself. The greenskins had gouged a great scar in the forest, a huge area of devastation that stretched for over a hundred square miles, and it continued to grow daily. An army of Ork dreadnoughts, all equipped with buzz saws and power claws, were tearing down the ancient woodland and constantly expanding the site's perimeter. At their current rate of deforestation, he estimated they would reach his current position in less than twenty four hours. Relocation would very soon become a priority, but for now, he continued to watch.

Smaller versions of the xenos walkers were processing the fallen trees, stripping away branches and foliage before hauling the timber away, towards the massive industrial complex that lay at the heart of the site. A tangled warren of factories and foundries, it's ramshackle nature belied the effectiveness of Ork industry. Despite the primitive buildings and rusty machinery, a seemingly endless supply of armour plates, gun barrels and engine parts were being produced at remarkable speed.

In the lands further north, the watcher knew the aliens had set up intensive mining operations, delving deep beneath the world's surface in search of the raw materials they needed. Trade caravans, loaded with iron ore, crude promethium and other minerals were arriving at the site every hour. The Orks had chosen this planet well, he mused. Although uninhabited, it contained abundant natural resources, and the foul creatures were plundering them with surprising efficiency.

The reason for this frenetic activity was readily apparent. Hundreds of Gargants were scattered across the construction site, all at various stages of completion. Enveloped by rickety, wooden scaffolding, each of the massive war machines was a hive of activity, their armoured shells growing slowly but inexorably with every passing day. Like monstrous beasts emerging from the ruined earth, they towered over the shanty town of shacks and workshops that surrounded them. While he watched, one of the Gargants shuddered into life, smashing through the wooden framework that enclosed it with contemptuous ease. Ignorant of the devastation it was causing, the colossal walker lumbered forward, crushing everything in it's path. The completed Gargants were all travelling northwards, the watcher noted. Beyond the factories and mines, a great landing field had been hewn from the forest, and the titanic war engines were assembling there en masse.

There was one critical factor in all the Orks activities. A single element which underpinned almost every aspect of the construction.

Slaves. Thousands upon thousands of human slaves. The entire site, like the mines of the north, was a gigantic forced labour camp. With no native population on Silva II, the xenos had transported their entire work force here. Rounded up like cattle from conquered worlds throughout the Jagga Empire, the former Imperial citizens were now being forced to manufacture the next phase of the Ork's assault against the Imperium of Man.

It was a thought which both sickened and enraged the watcher in equal measure, although he was quick to clamp down on such volatile emotions. His training had taught him to control and contain his emotional response, unleashing it only during combat operations when hate and anger would be most beneficial.

Even after many years of of psyche-conditioning it could still be difficult, and especially so in this situation. He was witnessing the terrible hardships being inflicted upon the enslaved men, women and children. The Orks were cruel, brutal captors, who expended the lives of their slaves with the same wanton enthusiasm as they consumed ammunition for their crude firearms. Life in the camps was harsh, relentless and usually very brief. Food and water would be scarce, for the aliens cared little for their slaves physical needs. Rest or even sleep was practically non-existent. You worked until you dropped. Death was the only respite available.

Unlike many Astartes, he could still empathize with the oppressed and downtrodden, the subjugated and the mistreated. His training program, whilst as exhaustive as that of any other Chapter, had been careful to leave certain memories intact. He understood what these people endured, and knew first hand the terrors of an Ork slave camp.

He had been born in one.

Squad Agapeto were responsible for the destruction of Jaggas Maw along with Vanguard  and Sternguard  from The Rainbow Warriors .This allowed both chapters  Thunderhawk and Storm Ravens to make attack runs on the remaining orbital defense platforms.

Sanus4 was a agricultrual planet. It fed the nearby systems and the fleets of the Imperial Navy. That was before the Orks came.

The population now were slaves.Forced to raise Grox ,fish the planets two oceans .And grow grain for the Xenos foul beer. For three nights the people watched the lights in the sky announcing the arrival of the Imperium.many fell tho their knees praying for salvation ,others cursed that it took almost 3 generations for help to arrive.

Drop Pods of Black&Bone slammed unto the nearby fields and Thunderhawks and Stormravens screamed across the sky in support of the Drop Pods. From some of the slaves and orks saw five figures fall from one of Stormravens. The five figures ignited their jumppacks to slow their descent but still created small craters as they hit the earth.Slacked jawed Orks stared in amazement as the five figures reved blades and starting killing them. Many of the humans shed a tear the God Emperor had sent his Angels. The Death Spectres had arrived.
