nurglespuss
And here is my Raven Guard Legionnaire (Mr Stabby ;p ), I've tried to keep his black very black (despite 3 highlights ;p ) - That green shoulder half looks an odd colour combo, but, thats the colour so go figure! Next up a Thousand Son, as soon as I can find a suitable head :) http://angelsofbaal.files.wordpress.com/2013/09/savedpicture-201399232559.jpg?w=604 http://angelsofbaal.files.wordpress.com/2013/09/savedpicture-20139923264.jpg?w=604 http://angelsofbaal.files.wordpress.com/2013/09/savedpicture-201399232681.jpg?w=604 http://angelsofbaal.files.wordpress.com/2013/09/savedpicture-201399232612.jpg?w=604 http://angelsofbaal.files.wordpress.com/2013/09/savedpicture-201399164351.jpg?w=604 Guide pic: http://angelsofbaal.files.wordpress.com/2013/09/savedpicture-201399232554.jpg?w=604 Hope you like him :)
Mahoo
My only nit pick, is that I think the blades should be facing the other way lol Other than that he looks pretty good! I always like seeing peoples take on raven guard, to see if they stick to the descriptions (about the armour being matte black and non reflective, almost absorbing the light)
nurglespuss
Ha, cheers! Yes i did um and ah about the blades :P the black is a bit shiny (glazes) , will matte it with testors, cheers!
Hyaenidae
I'm actually fine with the blades; looks like he's focused on gutting and backslashes. Many, many different techniques with a knife, depending on the opponent. Pretty, though a bit jarring when compared to the standard highlights you see nowadays. EDIT: I know you were going for the ol' 2nd edition look, which you accomplished beautifully, but I can't help but wonder if he would have looked even more badass if he had been sealed in a matte spray...
