Son of Carnelian
Looks great! My only note would be that the sergeant doesn't really mesh with the rest of the squad with his pose. They're more "advancing and surveying" and he is more "laying down fire." Still, those excellent paint jobs go a long way towards remedying this! Firepower
Aside from the awkward positioning of the shoulder on the far-right guy, and the weird mini-mohawk on the beaky helmet, I love everything about this last batch :) To be more specific on the beaky-hawk, it's a touch short, both in height and length, and it has no base like the other crest does, which would have helped a lot I think. I'm loving the depth you're getting on the blues. I can't quite tell what the method you're using is, though. It looks like a deep base, a standard blue and then sharp edge highlighting in another lighter shade, but I can't quite tell how you're blending the base into the mid-blue. I wasn't even sure you were until I looked at the top panel of the heavy bolter backpack. Perhaps it's actually a wash...hmmmmm.

Yeah, the beaky crest was an experiment and the arms on the melta guy just didn't match up, even though they were the right arms... weird. I try not to think about it :P But I appreciate the criticisms, gives me something to work on for the next batch (I dunno if anyone noticed, I worked on the eyes a bit more and brightened them up).
