Grotsmasha
Lots of people have their own preferences. Some like a white built up from Grey's, some prefer bone built up from Brown's,others prefer straight browns. Best bet is too work out which finished colour you like the most, then better painters then me can guide you better. Loran
For the cream-coloured robes that are used in the 'Eavy Metal miniatures, the paint scheme goes like this: Base: Zandri Dust Shade: Seraphim Sepia Layer: Ushabti Bone Layer: Screaming Skull This is also shown in the How to Paint Citadel Miniatures book. One of the better painting guides out there, in my opinion :) Cheers, Loran Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/280409-dark-angels-robes-help/#findComment-3465228 Share on other sites
Major_Gilbear
Something like this tutorial might help you? It does a pretty good job, and I think reflects the more common colour tones that many people use.
