Volfen
Since the Golden Lions are an Imperial Fist successor, I was thinking about making a Pedro Kantor "counts as" model to lead them. However, when I dropped in to pick up my new codex a few days ago and mentioned my plan to my friendly-local-game-store-manager, he said, "Hey, I think I still have a Pedro still up on the shelf." And so viola! Here He is in all his pewter glory! I hadn't worked on a metal mini in a while and so I thought I might take some pics along the way. These show the minimal flash that I had to clean, and the trap that I fell in. Yes, yes I didn't cut the arm off the mold channel as I should, and after much wailing and gnashing of teeth, I took this picture. After cleanup, green stuff, priming and blue base the blue used was Vallejo Model Air Arctic Blue and Blue. The Arctic Blue has a metallic sheen that I liked. The next few pics show Pedro just about complete. Question -- should I add to the contrast of the gold highlights? I kept them a little muted in order to emphasize the dark blue and scarlet. The Blue Highlights are just a little bit less in reality than is shown in the photos. So any suggestions or critiques before Pedro goes on the Tabletop? Grizzly_bear
That's a nice blue and a different approach to under coating crimson fists, the only thing id say is your paint seems to be a little too thick, apart from that keep up the good work Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/280462-pedro-kantor/#findComment-3466219 Share on other sites
