Jonah
I kinda made this model without thinking about the rules. I don't think he'd be very effective unless you sat him in a gunline holding an objective, but he looks really cool! He's basically a 'Master of the Chapter' with a heavy bolter. I snipped the end off and glued a Psylencer barrel on instead, then tacked on all the extra faff that come on the blisters to make it look 'sanctified'. I'l probably paint & field this guy purely based on bad-assery alone. Major_Gilbear
Not sure how much like a stormbolter that is, but if all else fails (i.e., your opponent find it too confusing! ), he'd still make a great Sternguard with HB, especially if you gave him ex-Deathwatch insignia. Either way, he does look pretty cool! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/280552-captain-with-primarchs-wrath/#findComment-3468186 Share on other sites
Ace Debonair
Couldn't say a lot for the rules, but damn, if I was a Captain, I'd want a gun like that too. Very cool! Lysere
Isn't Primarch's Wrath just a ancient and very well made bolter? Bit of an upgrade if you ask me, but also fits the rules better. That Guy Matt
I don't think it's too important what it says the weapon is fluff wise, it's easy to establish what it counts as and if you ask me the most important thing is that is looks cool. I think if you want a shooty Captain this is the kind of cannon he should be carrying. Good work. Son of Carnelian
Rule of cool trumps all. I'd play against it without complaint! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/280552-captain-with-primarchs-wrath/#findComment-3468607 Share on other sites
Brother Pheidias
Pretty neat idea. I'm still trying to figure out how to make mine. Quick question, does it mesh with the Imperial Fists Chapter Trait? I mean, it's a bolter, right? Veteran Sergeant
I had always imagined the best model for Guilliman would have been with some kind of heavy bolter he was wielding like a regular rifle. So if the fluff behind it is a toy from Guilliman's personal armory, that fits in perfectly. Obviously if you're not playing Ultramarines, I guess you have to adjust as you see fit.
