So whose the Khan going to fight?

He has to fight someone, I think all Primarchs should eventually have a one on one / two on one fight, so far even Roboute has had a fight, so who do you think the Khan will get a go against, currently he's set up to fight Fulgrim or Mortarion if the recent episode of Scars's indication is right, but that may not happen till the Siege of Terra, where I could see the Khan hunting down Fulgrim short after the siege is lifted and potentially fighting Mortarion during the space port battles.

Anyone else you think he's likely to face?

Prospero was pretty much purely a Thousand Sons vs Wolves fight afaik no other legions were involved on either side.

I think Khan vs Fulgrim would be pretty awesome seen as they're both master swordsmen.

Spoilers!! (On mobile so can't add spoiler tags)

Aye, in the latest episode of Scars it's confirmed that the WS havn't a clue what's going on, having conflicting reports regarding the state of the Imperium at best, those saying Russ is a traitor and those that the Warmaster has turned from the Imperium. So to see what has truly happened, as if indeed Russ has killed Magnus, he's travelling to Prospero.

However, he remembers a conversation on Ullanor between himself, Mortarion, Sanguinius and Fulgrim. Khan states that he'd beat Fulgrim easily as he treats war like a game. But he's unsure of Mprtarion and Morty says that there is no reason (at the time) that they should fight. He the. Points out he knows what is being planned regarding the Librarius (obv as the main antagonist of psykers amongst the Primarchs).

So it seems to me that the Khan has dismissed Fulgrim as an opponent, yet isn't sure of Morty, who he sees as an unknown quantity always at the fringe of the crusade, like himself. So it seems to me were being set up for a Mprtarion vs Jaghatai Khan conflict and I think this could happen in the ruins of Prospero somehow. We still have 5 chapters left after all!

Mortarion I think. Fulgrim is far too pumped up already. Kills Ferrus, almost offs Perturabo, possibly off's Rob. He's a beast really, gets insane face time.

I hope Khan fights Mortarion just because of that.

Or, it might be equally refreshing to see Khan do to Fulgrim exactly what he said he'd do . . .

What would Mortarion be doing on Prospero? It's easier to see Magnus returning there to harness his hatred at the Wolves and the Imperium, or, as has been sugested, the Primordial Annihilator still lingering on the planet and revealing the whole Heresy plan to the Khan, thereby making his decision easier.

Morty would be reserved for the Siege of Terra, methinks.

I haven't likef Fulgrim from the start, and the novel bearing his name is one of the worst I've read in the HH series. He is getting WAY too much face time and frankly, I'm sick of him.

Agreed. Especially since there's the whole part of the Siege where the White Scars attack the rear lines, where the Death Guard happen to be. The stage is already set for that scene.

Well a possible reason for Mortarion being there is because Mortarion was instrumental with getting rid of the Librarius and a key supporter of it was Magnus, so it's not outside the realm of possibility that Mortarion fancied checking out the world to make sure it was truly dealt with.

Same.

Yes you are a baddy, but a boring one at that. Move along.

That's what I'm saying - I certainly wouldn't relish much more Fulgrim, but if it's for the sake of showing the Khan utterly humiliate him, I'd be down.

But generally speaking methinks that it's high time fo much mo' 'tarion in the HH.

I dont think (in past fluff) this can be the case, as mentioned Fulgrim puts Rob in a statis chamber, and iirc, banishment is 100 years minimum?

If Khan banishes Fulgrim during the Siege and Fulgrim puts down Bobby during the Scouring (I'm guessing near the end of the Scouring), there might be a gap of a century in between, especially if BL retcons The Scouring from a few decades to a century or so.
