skawolf
So I have sculpted a little icon onto a shoulderpad. I want to press this shoulderpad into a blob of greenstuff, let it dry and create a little mold to replicate the symbol i made so I don't have to sculpt it 60+ times. I'm planning on putting green stuff in the icon mold and pushing a shoulderpad in behind it to get the correct shape on the back. My question is, is liquid greenstuff liquidy enough to pour into the mold? I've never used it before. Peredyne
Not liquid enough to pour, it shrinks when it dries and it dries brittle. You're better off using the mold as a press mold and pressing the green stuff into the mold and then pulling the piece out and supergluing it into place. Urauloth
Yeah you really can't use liguid greenstuff for this, your cast piece will disintegrate. It's greenstuf in name only, really. It's useful for filling tiny gaps and the little air bubbles you often get on finecast minis and p.much nothing else.
