thanks, did a bit of cutting and moving, im quite happy with the results, still needs more sculpting on the cloth doing layers on them. And started on the plague marines building them, wanted them to be advancing slowly and ready to gun down anyone that gets in there way.

edit: and yes defianetly the lord is gonna go wack lots of people as he wroooms by and shatters a few skulls with the mace, thonkibg a black mace, thats gotta be fun

Was going to get painting tonight. Until I spotted a few areas missed with primer. Tried using Imperial Primer to fill the gaps and did it work...did it [censored]!

Can work on the bases but need to get a bit more spray into those gaps. Disappointed is an understatement for certain.

Hands up the resin noob right here.

Edit. Got the bases done. Hazzar!!!

This is the last update on my 16 Bloodletters. They're done. Took longer than I expected, thanks to the new WFB Dark Elves release :)

I even painted the 17th guy, another Bloodletter with Instrument of Chaos. The loner in the pic.

woot.gif Very productive weekend!

@ The Devourer: seems like you got a lot on your hands mate! Good luck! msn-wink.gif

@ forte: Can't wait to see these guys up and running. Impressive bases too - how did you do the surface?

@ Bungicats: Well Gal Vorbak certainly looks the part! laugh.png Well done Bungs - lets see the Annointed coming in for support!

@ Ammonius: Yeah, you're right... a Titan is nothing without a Land Raider! laugh.png You sir have embarked on an ambitious project - all I can say is good luck!

@ Jasp: A really cool progeress on this guy... He already looks fantastic and the final touches are not even there yet!

@ Thamier: tiny update may be, but it's an update nevertheless. msn-wink.gif

@ Lord Doyok: The Gods look favourably upon you... However the true honors will be awarded later on - at the end of the event. As such, I you want to add more to your vow (and risk eternal damnation in a true Chaos fashion) feel free! biggrin.png Awesomwe old style 'letters too! Keep in mind that leinmann's banner is the official participation banner that all participants can wear and can be found in the first post (post #1). You can use it, until the end of the event when you can replace it by the Mark of Dark Glory!

Keep the pace guys - this is awesome!

Updated to this point!

Okay.. As I'm about to repaint 15 Chaos Warhounds to be used as Flesh Hounds of Khorne. Please add them to my vow.

@Semper. Cheers. The slate parts are from a GW 40k basing kit. Bases were done as follows

1. Glue any large pieces you want to look sunk in to the base (skull and helmet for example) and any large bits of slate/stone.

2. Glue small bits of slate by the larger pieces and leave for the glue to set.

3. Vallejo grey pumice was then use to cove the rest of the base. Because of how this stuff goes on it creates really good, uneven textures.

4. Stick any last pieces on and leave to set till the pumice is clear and solid.

5. Dry brush it like a maniac.

I'm really happy with them (as you may have noticed) and hope that I can get the minis to as good a standard (which I'm respraying right at this moment).

Right I completed my fiend and oblits thursday before heading down to warhammer world on friday (was painting until 2am friday morning, typical for a tournament). My tabletop standard isn't much to brag about, but gets the job done and is 1000 times better then playing with grey :D

I'm aware that chevrons would improve my iron warriors drastically, I just need to work up the courage and enthusiasm to try...

Alright guys, good to see a steady flow of progress! :)

@ nurglez: You completed mate - wel done! Now, as an agent of Tzeentch I have to put it on the table: You can stop now and earn your Mark of Dark Glory, or take the extra step to satisfy the Dark Pantheon and vow again! Your call, but the Gods are watching...

@ Jiron: No problem - nice to see to starting in earnest! Good luck!

@ Lord Doyok: Well, here we go... Upping the stakes and keep the Chaos Gods happy! No rush, it's only your soul that's at stake! :D
