daboarder Posted September 24, 2013 Share Posted September 24, 2013 So what do you think of waveserpents riptides and gravannon centurions or gravgun bikers, must be just destroying the game....No there has been a huge escalation in the destructive potential of units, the drake gets a bad wrap but I've never seen a drake drop the things I've seen those units drop without breaking a sweat. the jeske Posted September 25, 2013 Share Posted September 25, 2013 Have many tournament did you play when codex chaos came out at the start of 6th ? Chaos has a huge problem with scaling . When 5th started our dex was called the most OP thing ever made , because of lash/oblits/pms. But as the edition progressed we got suckier . And this wasn't just a simple thing of GW making each new codex better. Other armies SW and IG , were "old" when 5th ended , but were doing much better , Their entry in to 6th was a lot more smoother . Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Do you not think that's what csm tournie players have been trying? The dex is flawed and lacks the tools to combat the things you need to combat to build a tac tournie list. (you need to be able to stop av14, av12-13 spam, flier spam, fmc spam, multiple wraithknight/riptide spam. You need troops who can reliably make it to objectives outside your deployment zone, and then survive.) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Appreciate that's the case - my comment was more in jest because even with the best list, we're realistically not going to be able to compete, hence such standings.
