Spagunk
I don't foresee a BA supplement, but I'd buy it no matter what. You know what would be an awesome supplement, something to make a pure DC army. I remember that White Dwarf article. Was pretty fun putting your entire army into cruise control and let them go at it. Leonaides
It's called take astaroth and then load up on several thousand points of dc and chaplains... Or did you actually mean you just wanted a chance to take devastators with rage and fearless? Calnus
I don't think there's any real call for supplements to be competitive. The closest any of them have come is Farsight, and that's mostly due to its basing off the excellent Tau book. If someone tried to run a pure Farsight list, it would be easier to beat for a lot of lists that would have more trouble with Tau, or Tau/Eldar combos (which are pretty dominant competitively). I think a very fluffy Flesh Tearers supplement would be ideal. Few tweaks, maybe force taking Gabriel Seth, but with rules to make him usable now that you can't assault out of Rhinos? it wouldn't necessarily be great competitive, but it do what it says on the label- Be Flesh Tearers, like they are in the background. After all, pretty much all of the BA successors that have been mentioned are dying out one way or another. Attrition is about to write off the FT, Lamenters may or may not already be extinct, and there was a massive Daemon horde headed straight for Baal last time I checked. Competitive? Not really the BA thing. Taking out as much as you can in a blaze of glory? Absolutely our thing. Leksington
That the Flesh Tearers are the only successor that seems worthy of a supplement seems to be exactly the reason why they should do at least 2 supplements. They should take this opportunity to flesh out a 2nd significant successor chapter. Deadpool1713
Blood Angels and Dark Angels are already glorified supplements. DA did not get any, so I wouldn't hope for any successor supplements. All I want is to make Gabriel Seth do more, either have his own chapter tactics or affect the force org chart would be nice. Also add another successor special character. Seth needs to be able to have a jump pack as well Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/280886-blood-angels-supplements/page/2/#findComment-3481997 Share on other sites

Calnus
It would be neat if we had a special character who didn't have locked in gear. Like Seth, but with the option to take a bike or jump pack or terminator armor. Always wanted more customization, especially when the go-to for custom characters is lacking the best options :( Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/280886-blood-angels-supplements/page/2/#findComment-3482230 Share on other sites

Jolemai
A while back there was a rumour that the BA supplement would be Flesh Tearers. Arkangilos
I would also like to see a supplement that covers all of the major successors. Honestly, I'd like to see some Blood Drinker, Angels Encarmine, Angels Sanguine and Angels Vermillion characters and expanded fluff. The Angels Sanguine especially, because I want to know more about their mysterious ways. Sparika
It seems that the Imperial Fist supplement will be only about the 3rd company. Maybe a BA supplement would be about a company too. Like the 3rd under Tycho, or something else. What do you think of this possibility? Jolemai
Wouldn't that be repetition though? We already have the formations for that in the Apocalypse rulebook. Terrahawk
Wouldn't that be repetition though? We already have the formations for that in the Apocalypse rulebook. Maybe. ;) However, I think Tycho/Armageddon inspired Warlord Traits, Relics and units would be pretty sweet. That is perhaps the most iconic battle in our history, since the Horus Heresy, after all. Still, if we are getting only one supplement, I'd prefer the Flesh Tearers before anything else. Res Ipsa Loquitur
It's called take astaroth and then load up on several thousand points of dc and chaplains... Or did you actually mean you just wanted a chance to take devastators with rage and fearless? While I obviously cannot speak for James, I suspect his meaning was similar to mine; a BA supplement that allows you to take even a semi-competitive, pure DC army. As things stand, yes you can build a pure DC army (I have one and it's enormous fun) but you're not going to win tournaments or likely even a single tournament game.
